“As an educator it can be difficult to find engaging material which is easily understood by a wide range of students in terms of age and technical experience. ICando offers a user friendly approach with the support of audio, text and clear visuals and demos to inform by demonstration rather than theory.”
- Sarah Carroll Kelly, Head of Media Department, Stillorgan VEC

“I am on the site learning all morning when I should be doing other things, I am delighted with it, so easy, step by step teaching me as if I am in a classroom. It has paid its way already. Being able to do it at home anytime is brilliant! I will be recommending it to everyone..”

“I can’t believe how easy it was to access and use the I-CANDO modules. I’m a bit of a technophobe and I was a little afraid of the different function / buttons on our digital camera as I was never really sure what each one did, having completed the online I-CANDO Digital Camera module I can now make my way through the screens and can even set up the camera to save the battery power!
- Feedback from an Employment Trainer

“I would definitely recommend the I-CANDO suite to other networks for the future as it can help people at all levels of competency as there is always something new to learn. Waterford Chamber Skillnet are very interested in running this suite of modules for the network.”
- Trish Breen – Waterford Chamber Skillnet Manager & Trainer

“Digital skills are a key building block in the creation of a knowledge based, smart economy. Upskilling in this area has benefits for employees; increasing their individual employability and mobility, and for employers; increasing the innovation, creativity and productivity of workers. Irish employees need to possess the necessary digital skills to adapt to the rapidly changing national and global economy we find ourselves in.”
- Feedback from Alum Nuzum, CEO, Skillnets

I really enjoyed doing the I-can do training programme, I suppose like most people I was attracted by the fact I could work at it in my own time at my own pace. I also found that if I did not understand a part or exercise I could go back and watch the video again, until I understood how to do it. so unlike a classroom situation there is no chance of being "left Behind". I would certainly recommend the programme to other people, I have already suggested it to family and work colleagues. I thought it the programme covered a large range of subjects; some I was familiar with, others like; photos and social networks I had never bothered with, but I am glad to say I am dabbling a bit more with them now. I would not change anything in the course content.”
